Align feet, hips and shoulders left of your target line. This creates an out-to-in swing allowing the clubhead to cut across the sand and ball through impact. Open the clubface and then set-up to the right of the target. By opening the clubface it enables you to hit the ball high and soft.

When the ball is sitting up in a bunker take the same club you’d use for a fairway lie, unless the face of the bunker interferes with the trajectory you may expect from the use of the club. If it does, then your club should be one that will get you out regardless of whatever is the distance you can expect. The main thing is to get out.
