Meet The Team

MEET THE TEAM

Michelle Lamont – Managing Director/Partner

A woman of many talents, Michelle has mastered a number of career changes and hobbies over the years. Golf, however is a different matter. After years of driving her hubby around golf courses around the globe she made the decision to try the game herself.

“Now I hit just enough good shots to keep me coming back and more than enough bad shots to make me wonder why!” Michelle says. Michelle now intends to spend much more time listening to our wonderful Golf Pro Tim Bell instead of sitting at the computer.

Aaron Stewart – Director/Partner

The General Manager of the business, Aaron oversees all aspects of the business particularly ensuring that the website is functional from the layman’s point of view and not only performing to the satisfaction of the IT programming team. He has the final say in the “Look and Feel” of the site.

A keen golfer himself, Aaron enjoys any chance he can get to take to the golf course (all in the name of research) of course! Although, now that his mother (the above named Michelle) is planning to spend much more time out of the office, his research time could be downgraded more than he might like!

Glenn Headley – Manager Website Development

Glenn leads our team of IT specialists which includes Programmers, Developers and Graphic Designers. It is his responsibility to ensure the smooth running of the functionality of the website from the programming side of the operation. Another keen golfer he is always ready to assist Aaron with his “research”.

Timothy Bell – Golf Teaching Professional

Tim has held his PGA status with the Australian Professional Golfers Association since 1970 and his career has taken him to many places both here in Australia and overseas.

His first appointment was as general manager/teaching professional at Rabaul Golf Club in Papua New Guinea. Since those early days other appointments have included Caloundra Qld, Surfers Paradise Qld, Royal Qld and the prestigious 36 hole Kelab Golf in Sarawak Malaysia and Pacific Harbour Golf and Country Club Qld.

We are extremely fortunate that Tim now brings his wealth of experience and dedication to teaching the game of golf into the 21st century. His specialised on line tutoring system will be of enormous benefit to Golf Trajics (you know who you are) all over the world!

Tim Bell has a career path that reveals a life didicated and a passion for the golf game. Tim was born in Quantan, Malaysia in 1948. At the age of 12 Tim played his first game of golf at Pacific Golf Club, Brisbane and at that club attained his PGA status with the Australian Proffessional Golfers Association in 1970. Tim's golfing career has taken him to many places within Australia and overseas and coupled with an epitome of devotion to teaching he now brings a wealth of experience to members and guests at Pacific Harbour Golf & Country Club, Bribie Island.

His first appointment was General Manager / Teaching Proffessional at Rabaul Golf Club, Papua New Guinea. Since those early days, other golf club appointments have been Caloundra Sunshine Coast, Surfers Paradise Gold Coast, Royal Qld Brisbane and the Prestige 36 hole Kelab Golf Sarawak Malaysia.

Tim returned to Australia in 2004 after 10 years of teaching in Malaysia, Malaysia had given him an opportunity to focus and develop further his coaching skills. When an opportunity was presented for him to work on the construction and initial golf course maintenance of PHG&CC he challenged the opportunity to explore and learn more about the golf construction side of the insustry.

Golf Course "Management Play" is vital when playing PHG&CC. Tim knows every blade of grass and contour on the course. This is another aspect when teaching that he passes onto his students who are challenged when playing the Ross Watson designed course. His teaching has helped golfers of all levels to achieve their desired objectives when playing golf.

Tim Bell has now left PHG&CC, Bribie Island and has joined us at Golftrajic.
