Putting Drill

A putting practice drill that will help the mind and body to understand and allow the proper rocking of the shoulders in the stroke is to place a club on the ground. The toes are placed either equidistant from the club or in a slightly open position meaning that the left toe is 25/ 30 mm from the shaft than the right toe (right hand player). The body posture is to bend from the hips being sure that the shoulders align with the shaft on the ground. The secondary golf club or old golf shaft is placed across the chest and under each arm pit. The proper swing of the shoulders/ arm to putter is to feel the shaft move in line with the club on the ground not rotate.
